The Formation of the Next Human

The Open Threshold Project exists to form the next human orientation.

The next human is not post-human in the sense of abandoning body, Earth, conscience, or love. The next human is more fully human because the field of humanity has expanded.

The next human is trained for scale.

The next human can look at the stars without shrinking, study anomaly without panic, face superior power without servility, and inhabit uncertainty without inventing false gods.

The next human is scientifically literate, philosophically awake, spiritually serious, psychologically grounded, and ethically free.

The next human knows the difference between evidence and interpretation, reverence and worship, mystery and confusion, authority and domination, contact and consent.

The next human also knows the difference between disclosure and managed belief.

They understand that facts can be released while meaning remains captured. They recognize when governments, agencies, contractors, platforms, media systems, priesthoods, expert classes, or private narrative managers attempt to set the limits of reality in advance.

The next human is not a passive recipient of official meaning.

The next human belongs to Earth and is open to the Larger World.

The next human is difficult to deceive because they are not desperate to be comforted.

The next human is difficult to manage because they are not waiting for permission to interpret reality.

The next human is capable of saying:

The world is larger than I was taught.
I will become larger with it.
