We affirm spirit: the deepening of human being before mystery, beauty, conscience, and the Source.

We affirm human dignity: humanity is not supreme, and humanity is not nothing.

We affirm freedom: no power may own the conscience, body, mind, or future of the human being.

We affirm discernment: truth must be separated from fear, fantasy, manipulation, and premature certainty.
